Design the structures behind the world's most challenging industrial projects.


We're looking for a Structural Design Engineer who wants to grow in an international environment, work alongside experienced specialists, and contribute to projects that make a real impact.


 


What You'll Be Working On


As a Structural Design Engineer, you'll be involved in the design and analysis of industrial facilities and supporting structures.


Your responsibilities include:



  • Developing structural solutions for industrial and energy-related projects

  • Designing steel and reinforced concrete structures

  • Designing buildings, equipment foundations, pipe racks, skids and supporting structures

  • Performing structural calculations and analyses according to international standards and Eurocodes

  • Preparing calculation reports and technical documentation

  • Creating and reviewing 2D and 3D models and construction drawings

  • Producing formwork, reinforcement and detailed structural drawings

  • Preparing material take-offs (MTOs) and quantity estimates

  • Collaborating closely with Process, Mechanical, Piping, E&I and Project Management teams across our three offices

  • Supporting project execution during engineering, construction and commissioning phases


 

Job Requirements

What We're Looking For


Education



  • BSc or MSc degree in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering


Experience



  • 2-5 years of experience in structural engineering and design

  • Experience in industrial projects is highly preferred (Oil & Gas, Offshore, Energy, Chemical, Food, Pharma or similar sectors)

  • Experience with reinforced concrete and steel structures


 


Technical Skills



  • Good understanding of structural analysis and design principles

  • Experience with:
    -Robot Structural Analysis
    -STAAD.Pro
    -AutoCAD
    -Revit
    -Advance Steel

  • Ability to prepare and review structural calculations and detailing drawings

  • Familiarity with Eurocodes and international design standards

  • Good knowledge of reinforced concrete detailing


Personal Skills



  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Team player with excellent communication skills

  • Proactive attitude and willingness to learn

  • Comfortable working in an international and multicultural environment

  • Fluent in English and Portuguese
