Your Impact
What You'll Be Working On


As Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for the structural design, analysis and coordination of industrial projects from concept development through detailed engineering and construction support.


You will:



  • Lead structural engineering activities within multidisciplinary projects

  • Develop and review structural concepts and design philosophies

  • Perform and validate advanced structural calculations and analyses

  • Design steel structures, reinforced concrete structures, equipment foundations, pipe racks, skids and industrial buildings

  • Prepare and review engineering deliverables, calculation reports and technical specifications

  • Coordinate structural interfaces with Process, Mechanical, Piping, E&I and Project Management disciplines

  • Guide, mentor and technically support junior and medior engineers

  • Review and approve structural models, drawings and detailing packages

  • Ensure compliance with Eurocodes, international standards and client specifications

  • Participate in technical discussions with clients, contractors and project stakeholders

  • Support construction, commissioning and field engineering activities when required

  • Contribute to the further development of structural engineering standards and best practices within The Badger Company


 


 

Job Requirements

What We're Looking For


Education



  • BSc or MSc degree in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering


Experience



  • Minimum 8 years of experience in structural engineering and design

  • Proven experience in industrial projects such as Oil & Gas, Offshore, Energy, Chemical, Tank Storage, Food or Pharma facilities

  • Strong experience with both steel and reinforced concrete structures

  • Experience coordinating projects and supervising junior engineers

  • Experience working independently and taking ownership of engineering deliverables


Technical Skills



  • Strong knowledge of structural analysis and industrial design principles

  • Extensive experience with:
    -Robot Structural Analysis
    -STAAD.Pro
    -AutoCAD
    -Revit
    -Advance Steel

  • Ability to independently develop and verify structural calculations

  • Strong understanding of Eurocodes and international design standards

  • Excellent knowledge of reinforced concrete detailing and steel design

  • Experience with design reviews, technical audits and quality assurance processes

  • Natural leadership capabilities

  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to coach and mentor engineers

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Proactive, hands-on and solution-oriented mindset
